Block Therapy; one can follow the classes at ones leisure by purchasing the block and following the online classes, however, I strongly recommend treating yourself to the private consultations which allow the therapist to assess your body, posture, injuries and surgeries (if you’ve had any). If you combine the two, the online classes and the private sessions, the progress is fantastic. And I mean fantastic!
Lea Stillinger is the sole BT therapist in Montreal. Since August, I met with her three times. She established immediately my postural problems and took into account my past injuries, surgeries and the build up and contortions caused by fascia. Based on her assessment, she provided me a programme to address specifically my issues. As I continue to improve we continue to adjust the programme. During the appointments she works on my problem areas.
These appointments accelerate the fascia release. This is in fact, intense fast tracking.
I felt results immediately after my first appointment with Léa. BT is a physical workout that has changed my relationship with my body. I can more easily read the signals that my body is sending me and then know how to treat them. The result is a kinder and even fun lighthearted when I work with Lea.
What I appreciate is that she has also helped me understand the cause of my pain which enables me to treat myself at home with the block. I love this independence and immediate releif that I can provide for myself. Since three months of BT, I am feeling years younger, I look younger and I am doing things I have not easily done in years.
By the way, there’s a bonus to all this. In addition to becoming pain free, my body has changed. Places that used to sag and bag are now trim and slim. My legs are becoming sculpted again, so are my arms, tummy, butt and back - it’s as if I had a “body lift”.
So, treat yourself to better health and self-care with the help of Block Therapist Lea, and the programme. For me, it’s been a game changer.
Montreal :I had my first private fluid isometrics session last week. Lea thought my posture might be responsible for the frequent migraines I was having. After Lea observed my posture she started to mindfully apply pressure to precise areas of my body. With pinpoint accuracy Lea discovered, and began to release possible "cause sites" where fascia was "stuck". We worked together as she asked for feedback to guide her. I am not sure how long the session lasted. I didn't notice the time go by...we were working as one. At the end I could see that my posture had been transformed. I was anatomically aligned. Unbelievably, my head was now "on straight"! (It was off to one side when I looked into the mirror initially). I generally felt more open ....and joyful in my body....less stickiness in movements....10 years younger! My migraines did not totally disappear the next day. Gradually the morning headaches lessened to nothing -obviously, I am sold on fluid isometrics! I will block in between sessions to keep everything moving as it was meant to. Thank you Lea for your accurate evaluation, skillful interventions and presence throughout the session.
With gratitude 💖

I was completely hooked on Block Therapy right from the first session. Lea is an amazing practitioner, very knowledgeable above and beyond BT, and very dedicated to her clients. And her space is beautiful.
